The ''Washington Welcome Center'' was painted on site as a demostration for one of my outdoor workshops. It took me about three days to paint it. As I was about to finish my art degree at Morehead State University. I would drive past the ''Goddard Covered Bridge'' on my way back to Maysville. In 1989 my wife Susan and I opened our gallery in Maysville and people would often ask for a print of the bridge. I painted several views of the bridge on location. After selecting a view I liked best, I added a horse and buggy. The lithographic prints from the original painting are inspected and then hand signed and numbered in gold. Steve White
