Description Giclee Info   One of our most popular tobacco images.   Features... When I was on the farm growing tobacco, we would load a wagon or two of wilted cut sticks late in the evening. Early the next morning we would unload it. By the time we got those loads unloaded the dew would have dried off the standing tobacco so we could cut more without getting wet. We always tried to load late in the afternoon inorder for the load not to get hot before we were able to unload it the next morning. Women in our part of the country handed off the wagon like the woman you see in the print. Mom would hand off untill ten o'clock then go home to fix dinner for the workers. She would return late in the afternoon to help load more tobacco on the wagons. It was a dirty hard job that everyone in the family shared. Steve White
