Description Giclee Info   This image first appeared on the cover of  ''Muzzleloader Magazine's April/ May 2004 issue.   Features... I love to turkey hunt. Each Spring I enjoy the challange of a new season. The turkey in the print was my 60th. I did a few thumbnail sketches with pencil for composition. A friend helped me set up the scene. The figure is me in my 18th Century clothing starting the fire. The tree that the turkey is hanging from was probably a very small one when Daniel Boone, Simon Kenton, and Shawnee Indians hunted the area. The only thing that saved the tree from loggers is it's low hanging limbs which makes it unsuitable as a saw log. I hunt with a reproduction of an English flintlock smoothbore of the 1770's period.
