The Mennonite fellow in this print told me that he had just finished giving his buggy a fresh coat of paint. after talking for awhile he went to his barn and brought back a horse. As he hooked him up I took a few photos. The little boy is a relative and the dog is my dog, Rowdy. Mennonites are one of the Protestant groups derrived from the Anabapist movement in Holland and noted for simplicity of life.
