The Mennonite fellow in this print told me that he had just finished giving his buggy a fresh coat of paint. after talking for awhile he went to his barn and brought back a horse. As he hooked him up I took a few photos. The little boy is a relative and the dog is my dog, Rowdy. Mennonites are one of the Protestant groups derrived from the Anabapist movement in Holland and noted for simplicity of life. Amish are related to a strict sect of Mennonite that settled in America in 1693. Steve White
